Agriculture Clinics and Training Centers for Farmers in Maharashtra

Agriculture clinics and training centers for farmers launched and implemented by the state government of Maharashtra for the farmers. Agriculture clinics and training centers for farmers launched in 1997-1998 for fast growing agricultural technology effectively spread through the farmers in Maharashtra. The agriculture department of Maharashtra has established farming clinics and training centers to increased the productivity in their region or encourage farmers to increase production by using agriculture technology. The state government started 9 agriculture clinics in the year 1997-98, 24 agriculture clinics in the year 1998-99 or 23 agriculture clinics in the year 1999-2000 as total 56 agriculture has started in all over Maharashtra states for farmers. The state government spends 15 lakh each for started agriculture clinics in all over the Maharashtra. A total no. of 232 training centers for farmers already established in agriculture taluka division and rest agriculture clinics will be starting in all taluka level in Maharashtra. Agriculture clinics and training centers has aims to provide training facilities, provide training and organized demonstrations based on modern agricultural technology, provide facility for soil and water testing sample, provide crop pest/disease diagnose facilities or consult to farmers, improved crop practices, improved irrigation methods, improved cultivation methods, provide  organic fertilizers and biological controls system products , introducing improved crop varieties to farmers  under different crop museum, facilities to developed greenhouse and build zero-energy, seed production etc. to farmers by Demonstration, information and guidance

Eligibility for Agriculture Clinics and Training Centers for Farmers:

  1. All farmers in Maharashtra are eligible for this scheme
  2. Individual, small or group of farmers also eligible for this scheme
  3. A farmer must be domicile of Maharashtra state

  3. Applicant bank account details if required
