The AP Dulhan Marriage Scheme is launched by Andhra Pradesh State Government, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Department of District Minority Welfare. This scheme is especially started for girls of the minority who has the weaker family background. The main objective behind introducing this scheme is to provide financial assistance to such girls for their marriage. Under this scheme, Andhra Pradesh government has decided to provide financial assistance of Rs. 50,000 one time. To get benefits under this scheme the girl candidate needs to satisfy some eligibility norms which are mentioned below and the bride also needs to qualify some norms such as income limit. Benefits of AP Dulhan Marriage Scheme:
- AP Dulhan Marriage Scheme provides benefits in the form of financial assistance to the girl who belongs to minority community so that her parents would have less burden of marriage
- Under this scheme Rs. 50,000 is provided by Andhra Pradesh government to the girl for her marriage ceremony
Required eligibility and conditions for applying AP Dulhan Marriage Scheme:
- The unmarried girl must belong to the minority community
- The unmarried girl must be a resident of AP State
- The unmarried girl should have completed 18 years of age and the Bride and groom should have completed 21 years at the time of Marriage
- The income of the bride parents should not more than Rs.1,00,000/- per annum
Document required for applying AP Dulhan Marriage Scheme:
- Birth certificate of both
- Aadhar card of both compulsory
- Community certificate
- Permanent residence proof
- Wedding card if available
- Voter ID
- Ration card if available
- Bank passbook copy of both
- Bank details e.g. IFSC code, MICR code, branch name, account number
- Latest Passport size photograph
- After marriage is performed the beneficiary should submit joint photograph of both and marriage certificate
- Note: All documents must be scanned minimum size of scanned document is 50kb and maximum is 150kb
Application procedure:
- The applicant may apply one month before the date of marriage
