Bhagyashree Scheme for Female Child

The Bhagyashree Scheme is started by Maharashtra government for BPL family’s female child. Under this scheme a female children can get insurance of Rs -1 lakh which will be awarded after completion of 18 years of age of girl. In this scheme as soon as girl child take birth the government deposits Rs. 21200 to account of girl child, which would grow out to become Rs 1 lakh at the time when the girl reaches an age of 18 years.

Benefits of Bhagyashree Scheme:

  • Rs. 21200 will be deposited to account of girl child before the completion of her 1 year of age after her birth
  • The girl child will get benefit of cash amount Rs. 100000(1 lakh) after completion of 18 year of age
  • Two girl children from family can get benefits
  • The female child will get scholarship of Rs. 100 per month for studying in class 9th to 12th
  • Parents of the girl child will get an insurance under the scheme Aam Admi Bima Yojna for that premium will be given by bhagyashree scheme

Eligibility for Bhagyashree Scheme:

  1. Female children of all communities are eligible who belong to below poverty line but the benefits will not be given to more than two girl childs from a family.
  2. Female girls parents must have domicile of Maharashtra state
  3. Female girls parents must to do family planning operation after second female child birth
  4. This scheme is applicable to girl children in the age group of 0 to 18 years, whose parents’ age does not exceed 60 years.

  3. Birth certificate of girl child
  4. Income certificate of parents
  5. Ration care e.g. BPL card
  6. Bank passbook of girl child, IFSC code, MICR code

    why State Government Domicile is so essential, even though all of us are the Citizens of same nation. Getting Domicile is so harnessing. If Central Government is sharing the financial aid so why, non-domicile Citizens have been given benifit. why so much involvement of clerical system.

    Why all schemes are for bpl , so, St, or obc category. . Why not for open category. We open category people too have financial problems though which we face many difficulties.
    Pls we too need scholarships or such schemes.
