Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chattervriti Yojana

To encourage the merit among Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes students a scheme namely “Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chattervriti Yojana” was launched by the Education department of Himachal Pradesh declared as such in the result of Matric Examination conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala. This scholarship is for class 11th and 12th. The Scheme aims at recognizing and promoting quality education among students belonging to SC and OBC category, by providing financial support. The Education board of Himachal Pradesh has made the Application registration online making it easier for all the students belonging to different category and religions to apply for new applicants and also renew their old applications.

Benefits of Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chattervriti Yojana:

  • Ambedkar Medhavi Chattervriti Yojana provided benefits in the form of financial assistance for higher education to the SC and OBC students
  • The top 1000 meritorious SC category student and top 1000 meritorious OBC category student will get Rs. 10000 per annum

Required Eligibility and Conditions for Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chattervriti Yojana:

  1. The student should be a domicile of Himachal Pradesh, India
  2. Student should get minimum 72% in the SSC examination conducted by state government
  3. The student who got admission in any of the notified institutions for pursuing a full-time course at the level of Post matric/Diploma according to the norms prescribed by the respective institution
  4. The candidate should not avail any other scholarship under any scheme of the Government of India
  5. The renewal in 10+2 Class / 2nd Year of course will be subject to satisfactory performance in internal examinations of 10+1 Class / 1st Year Course

Document required for applying Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chattervriti Yojana:

  1. Passport size Photograph
  2. Aadhar card scanned copy
  3. Bonafide Certificate of Himachali
  4. Last year result copy
  5. SC / OBC Category Certificate (Issued by an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar)
  6. Current bank account statement
  7. Income certificate taken from authority
  8. IRDP / BPL certificate
  9. Fee structure approved by university
  10. Fees payment receipts
  11. Letter for selection

Application Procedure:

  2. Click for student login and fill required information
  3. ID and Password will be generated
  4. Make a login by entering ID and Password
  5. Application form will open fill the required information along with upload photograph
  6. Take a print out of that application form and submit it to school/institute with all document
