Dr B.R Ambedkar Housing Scheme for Scheduled Castes in Haryana

The Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Housing Scheme for Scheduled Cast is the scheme started by the government of Haryana for solving the housing problem in the state. The scheme helps for building housing and repair of the house. Haryana government help during the year of 2014-2015 a sum of Rs. 20450000/- was disbursed to 409 beneficiaries belonging to SC/ST Community. The man objective of this scheme is to enable every poor to own a house. Haryana government will provide benefits only those who have a plot, but should not have any house of his own.

Benefits of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Housing Scheme for Scheduled Castes:

• The government announced a subsidy of Rs. 2000 to the beneficiary for the construction of house
• From the year of 2006, the amount has been enhanced from Rs. 10000 to Rs. 50, 000 for the construction of house
• The government will provide Rs. 10, 000 for repair of the house and for that there is no limitation
• Under the scheme, the government will spend 90% for constructing houses and 10% for repair of the house

Eligibility for Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Housing Scheme for Scheduled Castes :

1. The applicant should belong to schedule cast and must be a bonafide resident of Haryana government
2. The applicant must be registered in Below Poverty line (BPL)
3. The applicant should own plot or house having area at least 90/100 square yards
4. The applicant should not have any house of his own
5. If person has already received benefits of this scheme then he will not eligible to get the benefits of this scheme
6. Employee of class 4 would be covered under the scheme

Application procedure for Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Housing Scheme for Scheduled Castes :

1. Applicant will have to take application form from DWO ( District Welfare Office)
2. Filling the application form and all document such as BPL list, ration card, and proof of land and submit all this document to District Welfare Office.

Documents required for applying Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Housing Scheme for Scheduled Castes:

1. Land Tax Receipt
2. Proof of land( sale deed, NA order, Sanction plain)
3. Attested copy of Schedule Cast Certificate
4. Domicile certificate of Haryana
5. Adhar Card
