Griha Aadhar Scheme

The  Griha Aadhar Scheme is the scheme started by the government of Goa to provide financial assistance and support poor housewife/housemaker and women from the middle, Lover middle section and poor section of society. The scheme helps poor section of society to maintain reasonable standard living of society for that government of Goa providing Rs. 1200/-  every month to directly at the hands of the housewives or housemaker in the family, but family income should be less than Rs. 3000. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance and benefits to married women, divorces, and widows in Goa

Benefits of  Griha Aadhar Scheme :

  • The Goa government provides financial assistance to poor housewives/ housemaker of 1200 per month

Eligibility for Griha Aadhar  Scheme :

  1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Goa from the last fifteen years
  2. Applicant women age not should be less than 18 years
  3. All married women, including widows and divorce, are eligible to get the benefits of this scheme
  4. Family income of the applicant should not exceed of Rs. 3, 00, 000 per annum
  5. If an applicant gets the benefits of other schemes under Govt. Of Goa/India then not eligible to get the benefits of this scheme

Application procedure for Griha Aadhar Scheme :

  1. The Departmental of Women and Child Development of Goa provides prescribed form for eligible women in society
  2. All the documents must be attached with the prescribed form and submit to Taluka level offices (Tahsil office)
  3. Every month maximum 1500 application will be sanctioned from Govt. of Goa
  4. The Women and Child Development will provide the financial assistance of Rs. 1200 every month to the saving bank account of the eligible beneficiaries
  5. Finally, all the application received by the Educational Department up to prescribed date
  6. The Beneficiaries shall submit fresh income certificate after every three years

Documents required for applying Griha Aadhar Scheme:

  1. Marriage Certificate of applicant
  2. Residential/Domicile certificate of applicant (Ration card, Election photo identity card)
  3. Aadhar Card
  4. Income Certificate which may include Salary Certificate
  5. Bank details (Saving bank passbook with IFSC and MICR details )
  6. 15 years residential proof
  7. Birth certificate of child
