Indira Gandhi Vruddha Bhumiheen Shetmajoor Anudan Yojana

Indira Gandhi Vruddha Bhumiheen Shetmajoor Anudan Yojana Is launched by the state government of Maharashtra. This scheme is for welfare of farm labour in Maharashtra. Indira Gandhi Vruddha Bhumiheen Shetmajoor Anudan Yojana is only for rural areas in Maharashtra state. The scheme is not for a person who lives in cities. Under this scheme, The landless farm-labours are given Rs.250 per month for two months. The Government of Maharashtra has started this scheme on 19th November 1991. Under this scheme financial assistance on monthly basis is being provided to Old Age Landless Farm Labor. This scheme is particularly for a labor who work on the farm but they don’t have own land for doing farming. The beneficiary of national old pension which is funded by government of India is also eligible for this particular scheme. Under this scheme, the amount is distributed to the bhumiheen shetmajoor for four times in a year. The amount is distributed in a year is only for three months at a time. The amount is distributed on 15th May, 15th August, 15th November, and 15th February. The beneficiary of national old pension which is funded by the government of India is also eligible for this particular scheme. The applicant male should be 65 years old and female 60 years old are eligible to apply for this scheme. The beneficiary for this scheme is compulsory lives in rural areas and should be landless. The main objective of this is to distribute fund to landless and helpless old age farmers

Eligibility for Indira Gandhi Vruddha Bhumiheen Shetmajoor Anudan Yojana:

  1. Age for male applicants 65 years and for Female applicants 60 years
  2. Beneficiary should be resident of Rural area
  3. Should be landless
  4. Should be Helpless

Documents required for Indira Gandhi Vruddha Bhumiheen Shetmajoor Anudan Yojana:

  1. Certificate of Age
  2. Aadhaar card
  3. Certificate of Talathi showing the beneficiary is landless
  4. Three Passport size photographs

Application procedure:

  1. Applicant should visit Talathi office in rural area
  2. Applicant should visit gram panchayat for more details about this scheme
  3. Applicant may visit collector office
