The Inspire Award Scheme for Early Attraction of Talent launched by Ministry of Science and Technology and Innovation in   Science   Pursuit for   Inspired   Research. The main objective behind introducing this scheme is to provide atmosphere, a platform to students of age 10 to 15 years so that they would be elaborate themselves in the field of Science, Research, and Innovation. As the name suggested Inspire Award Scheme the scheme provides financial assistance to shortlisted students for completion of project and transport and other expense. Under this scheme financial assistance provided along with the department of science and technology would organize the exhibition for projects of done by students. Benefits of Inspire Award Scheme for Early Attraction of Talent:

  • Inspire Award Scheme for Early Attraction of Talent provides benefits by providing financial assistance to millions of students of age 10 to 15 to experience joy and innovation in the science field and having an attraction with research and innovation. Rates of financial assistance mentioned below
  • Each student will get an amount of Rs. 5000 for making a Project and transportation cost for displaying the exhibits/ project in the exhibition
  • Amount will be directly transferred to bank account of candidate

Required eligibility and conditions for applying Inspire Award Scheme for Early Attraction of Talent:

  1. Students of age 10 to 15 years are eligible
  2. Students of class 6 to 10th are eligible
  3. Students must be residents of India
  4. Students of Middle & Secondary level schools in the country

Document required for applying Inspire Award Scheme for Early Attraction of Talent:

Application procedure:

  1. Candidate students need not apply himself he/she will be the selection of the students, on merits, is to be done by the Principal. No specific criteria/guidelines have been laid down by DST in this regard and it is expected that Principals / Headmasters / Headmistresses would be nominating the most deserving and meritorious students for such awards
  2. However, a wide publicity should be done in the school about this scheme so that students become aware of it. Posters/pamphlets containing brief details of the scheme should be put on notice board / other prominent places in the school
