North South Foundation (NSF) Scholarship

North South Foundation (NSF) provides scholarships to undergraduate students entering into engineering, medicine or 3-year polytechnic (diploma in engineering.) based on merit and financial need. NSF has distributed more than 12,000 scholarships to students who need financial support to pursue their quest for knowledge in their chosen fields. Their mission is develop human resources by giving scholarships to brilliant but needy students in India entering colleges, regardless of religion, gender, caste or creed. NSF funds these scholarships by raising donations in the US. The scholarship is an annual award and not a one-time payment. The student is eligible for the scholarship until graduation as long as he/she maintains high academic standards.

Benefits of the North South Foundation Scholarship:

  • The selected candidates under the North South Foundation Scholarship will receive Rs. 6000 to Rs. 18000 per student every year
  • The selected candidates will get support by NSF for their whole course of study as far as the candidates maintains the academic record

Required Eligibility and Conditions for Applying North South Foundation Scholarship:

  1. Applicant should be among the top 10% in 10th and 12th  and CET/JET ranks in your state
  2. Applicants annual family income should be less than Rs. 80,000
  3. Applicant have secured admission in professional courses like Engineering, Medicine, Polytechnic in a government recognised college (including seats in Government Aided colleges) should not be availing any other scholarship or financial aid

Document Required for Applying North South Foundation Scholarship:

  1. College Admission Card
  2. CET/JEE rank card
  3. Bonafide certificate from the college into which candidate secured admission
  4. Certificates showing marks secured from class 10th to 12th duly attested
  5. Proof of tuition fee paid /payable annually duly certified by college authorities
  6. Income Certificate issued by a Revenue Official or any other competent authority
  7. Ration card / Aadhar card
  8. Two passport size photographs
  9. One family photo with the family standing in front the house they live in, and
  10. Reservation Class card duly certified, if the entrance exam rank card does not have the reservation class

Application Procedure:                                               

  1. The mode of application is online
  2. The candidate is required to complete the registration online at http://www.northsouth.org/app6/Login.aspx
  3. After submitting the application online, a hard copy of the form with all your entries can be printed out in pdf format. This need to be printed and mailed along with certificate copies
