Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Uttar Pradesh to Build 11,286 Homes in First Phase

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Uttar Pradesh Government has decided to construct 11,286 homes under first phase Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Uttar Pradesh government will build 11,286 homes in 32 cities across the state. This information is shared by Shri Yogi Adityanath Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
The Uttar Pradesh government will be spent Rs.384.59 crore for construction of these homes. 11,286 homes under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana first phase will be provided to those people whose annual household income is less than Rs.3 Lakh. On the construction of these housing units, the government will spend Rs. 384.59 crore

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Uttar Pradesh to Provide:

  1. 11,286 houses will be constructed in 32 cities and towns of Uttar Pradesh under the first phase of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
  2. The government would spend about Rs. 384.59 for constructing houses in the first phase
  3. The amount for the construction would be shared by Center and state in the ratio of 60-40
  4. More than 20 lakh application received for PM Awas Yojana
  5. UP government approved the first DPR (Daily Progress Report) under Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana
  6. The scheme was originally launched by PM Narendra Modi in June 2015 to benefit the weaker segment of the society. The aim of the scheme is providing affordable housing to mainly EWS, LIG categories and also benefits the MIG category
  7. The construction of more than one lakh houses has approved by the center for urban poor with an investment of Rs. 4,200 crore under PMAY urban
