Pre Matric State Scholarship Scheme

The Pre Matric State Scholarship Scheme is introduced by Chhattisgarh government (Social Justice and Empowerment) This scheme provides a scholarship to SC, ST and OBC students from class 6 to 10 to encourage students to continue education by providing financial assistance. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance for well and better education to get self-employment and higher education opportunity to economically weaker section.

Required eligibility and conditions for applying Pre Matric State Scholarship Scheme:

  1. Candidate who are regularly studying in school and belongs SC, ST and OBC category or economically weaker section
  2. Candidates whose parent does not pay income tax or have less income are eligible for scheme
  3. Candidates whose parents have more than 10-acre farm are not eligible for applying scheme
  4. Candidate must be residents of Chhattisgarh State otherwise, candidate

Application procedure and documents required for applying Pre Matric State Scholarship Scheme:

  1. Caste certificate
  2. Identity proof e.g. school identity card
  3. Income certificate showing less income
  4. Residence proof e.g. certificate from residence authority
  5. Certificate that showing candidates parent does not pay income tax
  6. Domicile certificate
  7. Bonafide certificate

Application procedure:

  1. Candidate can apply to the school itself where he/she is pursuing education. By concerning student section and getting and submitting application form with proper documents to them
