Scholarship for Schedule Tribe Disabled Student Studying in Class 8th to 10th started by government of Maharashtra (Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) to promote voluntary action for schedule tribe students with disabilities. Scheme will leads enhance educational opportunities at all levels and in all forms and enlarge the scope of vocational and professional opportunities, income generation and gainful occupations. The main aim behind introducing this scheme is to support and encourage disabled persons so that they should be able to live common life. The tribe disabled student can get difficulty for perusing education. The government of Maharashtra giving travel expenses so that they cannot get a difficulty while traveling for their education. For getting benefits under this scheme applicant candidate need to qualify some eligibility norms which are mentioned below in article. This scheme is open for Adivasi community disabled youth who are permanent residence of Maharashtra and who belongs to Scheduled Tribe.

  • Scholarship for Schedule Tribe Disabled Student Studying in Class 8th to 10th gives benefit in the form of financial assistance
  • The disabled student perusing education will get Rs. 500/- per month as scholarship and Rs. 100/- per month as transportation cost

Required eligibility and conditions for applying Scholarship for Schedule Tribe Disabled Student Studying in Class 8th to 10th:

  1. Applicant student must be permanent residence of Maharashtra
  2. The student must be of Schedule tribe (ST)
  3. The student have the disability certificate of 40%
  4. Student should take admission in class 8th to 12th
  5. The student should not be in Government aided schools or hostels or any other government related organization

Document required for applying Scholarship for Schedule Tribe Disabled Student Studying in Class 8th to 10th:

  1. Aadhar card
  2. Disability certificate
  3. Nationality proof e.g. domicile certificate
  4. Passport size photograph
  5. Bonafide certificate
  6. Caste Certificate

  1. Applicant should visit Tribal Development Department where applicant would get exact information and application form
