Thakur Sen Negi Uttkrishta Chhatervriti Yojna

Education is one of the Himachal Pradesh state’s three top priorities. 19 per cent of the total State budget is spent on this important area. Himachal Pradesh state government is being developed as an education hub for accessible as possible technical and vocational education for youths in the state. Thakur Sen Negi Uttkrishta Chhatervriti Yojna is given to top 100 Girls and top 100 Boys students belonging to the Schedule Tribe Community of HP, declared as such in the result of Matric Examination conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala, strictly on merit basis to students studying in a recognized (including Professional / Technical) institution within or outside the State. This scholarship is for class 11th and 12th. The Scheme aims at recognizing and promoting quality education among students belonging to ST category.

Benefits of Thakur Sen Negi Uttkrishta Chhatervriti Yojna:

  • Thakur Sen Negi Uttkrishta Chhatervriti Yojna provided benefits in the form of financial assistance for higher education to the Schedule Tribe students
  • The top 100 meritorious Girl students and top 100 meritorious Boys student belongs to ST category will get Rs. 11000 per annum

Required Eligibility and Conditions for Thakur Sen Negi Uttkrishta Chhatervriti Yojna:

  1. The student should be a domicile of Himachal Pradesh, India
  2. Student should get minimum 72% in the SSC examination conducted by state government
  3. The student who got admission in any of the notified institutions for pursuing a full-time course at the level of Post matric/Diploma according to the norms prescribed by the respective institution
  4. The candidate should not avail any other scholarship under any scheme of the Government of India
  5. The renewal in 10+2 Class / 2nd Year of course will be subject to satisfactory performance in internal examinations of 10+1 Class / 1st Year Course

Document required for applying Thakur Sen Negi Uttkrishta Chhatervriti Yojna:

  1. Passport size Photograph
  2. Aadhar card scanned copy
  3. Bonafide Certificate of Himachali
  4. Last year result copy
  5. ST Category Certificate (Issued by an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar)
  6. Current bank account statement
  7. Income certificate taken from authority
  8. Fees payment receipts
  9. Letter for selection

  2. Click for student login and fill required information
  3. ID and Password will be generated
  4. Make a login by entering ID and Password
  5. Application form will open fill the required information along with upload photograph
  6. Take a print out of that application form and submit it to school/institute with all document
