Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Scheme

The Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Scheme is launched by Haryana State Government, Ministry of Women and Child Development. This scheme is specially launched for girl child or girls. The main aim behind introducing this scheme is to improve child sex ration and to ensure survival of newborn girl child along with proper health and promote education of girls in the state

Under this scheme, some financial amount is deposited by the name of the girl in the bank so that once she attains 18 years of age she would be able to get higher education and will able to make her stable future. With the help of this scheme, girl child can have access of pursuing higher education. For getting eligible under this scheme applicant need to qualify some eligibility norms which are mentioned below in the article. Girls of Haryana who belongs to BPL can take advantage of this scheme

Benefits of Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Scheme:

  • Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Scheme provides benefits in the form of financial help, details of financial help are mentioned below
  • First girl child of Scheduled Class family who was born on or after 22 January 2015 will get Rs. 21,000/- one time
  • First girl child of any category who belongs to BPL (Below Poverty Line) born on or after 22 January 2015 will get Rs. 21,000/- one time
  • Second or twins girl child of Scheduled Class family born on or after 21 January 2015 will get Rs. 5,000/- per year for five years
  • Second girl child of any category who belongs to BPL (Below Poverty Line) born on or after 21 January 2015 will get Rs. 5,000/- per year for five years
  • In special cases when twin/multiple girls are born on or before 21st January 2015 will get Rs. 2500/- per girl child per annum for five years

Required eligibility and conditions for applying Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Scheme:

  1. Girl beneficiary is who has married before 18 years of age are not eligible
  2. Girls who born in Haryana are eligible
  3. If girl dies after completion of age 18 then parents can get benefits of scheme
  4. Employee of Haryana government but residing in Delhi and Chandigarh are eligible for applying under this scheme
  5. While withdrawing benefits, girl must complete age 18 and must be unmarried
  6. All girls of Scheduled Class family whose first girl child and born on or after 22 January 2015 are eligible
  7. All girls of any category who belongs to BPL (Below Poverty Line) whose first girl child born on or after 22 January 2015 are eligible
  8. All girls of Scheduled Class family who has second girl child born on or after 21 January 2015 are eligible
  9. All girls of any category who belongs to BPL (Below Poverty Line) who has second girl child born on or after 21 January 2015 are eligible
  10. The birth of girl must be registered
  11. The beneficiary should register as per the age at Anganwadi center
  12. Pregnant women should register to nearer Anganwadi center

Document required for applying Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Scheme:

  1. Aadhar card of girl
  2. Birth certificate of girl child
  3. Residence proof
  4. Bank details e.g. IFSC code, MICR code, branch name, account number
  5. Identity proof
  6. Immunization card of child
  7. BPL ration card

Application procedure:

  1. This scheme is implemented by women and child development of Haryana
  2. Application form is available at nearer Anganwadi center or can be downloaded by clicking this mentioned official link: wcdhry.gov.in
  • Filled application form along will required document should be submitted to the health staff of Anganwadi center then further application will be processed by authorities
