Free health care & cashless treatment for 1.10 crore families in Rajasthan with insurance cover of upto Rs. 3 lakh

The Rajasthan Government has launched Ayushman Bharat Mahatma Gandhi Rajasthan Swasthya Bima Yojana (AB-MGRSBY). Under the scheme free health insurance cover of upto Rs. 3 lakh will be provided to 1 crore 10 lakh families in the state. Free health care along with cashless treatment will be provided in the selected government & private hospitals to the eligible beneficiaries.

The Rajasthan Government has combined two schemes Bhamashah Swasthya Bima Yojana with the Central government’s Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Under the new Ayushman Bharat Mahatma Gandhi Rajasthan Swasthya Bima Yojana (AB-MGRSBY) 10 lakh more families in the state will be given the benefits of the scheme.

AB-MGRSBY Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicable only in Rajasthan & only residents of Rajasthan can apply for the scheme
  • Applicable only to the poor families in the state who`s name is in the BPL list (SECC 2011 – socio economic caste-based census 2011)

AB-MGRSBY Application Form & How to Apply?

  • The scheme is applicable to all the poor families & its members in the state who`s name is in the BPL list (SECC 2011 list)
  • You dont need to apply for the scheme
  • There are no application form for the scheme
  • NOTE: All the eligible beneficiaries can get benefits of the application without paying any fees

Ayushman Bharat Mahatma Gandhi Rajasthan Swasthya Bima Yojana (AB-MGRSBY) Benefits:

  • Insurance cover of Rs. 30,000 per family for general illnesses
  • Insurance cover of Rs. 3,00,000 per family for critical illnesses
  • The scheme covers 1,401 disease packages related to 21 health specializations

The primary objective of the scheme is to make sure everyone in the state has access to the good & quality healthcare.
