The Prime Minister of India Shree Narendra Modi announced world largest health care program called Ayushman Bharat Yojana on 15th August 2018. It is India`s most ambition scheme to provide health insurance coverage of Rs. 5 lakh to all the poor across India for free. It is also called Ayushman Bharat – National Health Protection Yojana AB-NHPM or ModiCare or Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY). The scheme will be launched on 25th September 2018 across India. Apart of the health protection the scheme will also provide employment to the 10 lakh youth in next five year. They will be called as Ayushman Mitra and will help government implement the Ayushman Bharat Scheme effectively. Male and female candidates both can apply for the job.
Eligibility to become Ayushman Mitra?
- Male and female both can apply
- Educational Qualification: Applicant must have passed 12th / 10+2 / Intermediate from recognized institute in India
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years
- Women / accredited social health activists / candidates with previous experience in health care are given preference
- Basic computer and internet knowledge and experience
- Must know and experience in Microsoft Office (Word)
- Good in English, Hindi or the regional language
Ayushman Mitra Trainings:
- Selected candidate will be given necessary trainings for the job
- Interested candidates can take trainings even before becoming Ayushman Mitra
- Government of India Skill Development Department has various courses for the Ayushman Mitra
- Such candidate who already took trainings will be given preference
- Upon completion of the trainings certificates will be provided
Ayushman Mitra Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ayushman Mitra will be appointed in hospitals and insurance agencies
- They will be stationed in a help desk
- Such help desk will provide information on Ayushman Bharat Scheme to the beneficiaries
- They will also help people filling in various forms and complete formalities to get benefits of Ayushman Bharat Scheme
Ayushman Mitra Salary:
- Government is yet to provide official salary figure but it will be Rs. 15 thousand per month approx.
- Apart from salary the Ayushman Mitra will get incentive of Rs. 50 per patient
