Baideu and Nabou Scheme for Unmarried and Widow Women

The Baideu and Nabou Scheme for Unmarried and Widow by Women Assam State Government, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Social Welfare Department. The main objective behind starting this scheme is to provide financial help to unmarried and widow women belong to BPL (Below Poverty Line) family. Under this scheme, the Assam government decided to provide financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 one time so that by using that amount women would be able to stabilize herself. The unmarried female will able to take education and manage some extra things which are required to her. Under this scheme, married women of poor families are targeted by the government. The nodal agency for implementing this scheme is Social Welfare Office so benefits are provided through this department. Forgetting eligible under this scheme candidate needs to qualify some eligibility norms which are mentioned below

  • Under this scheme unmarried female or widow women who belong to BPL family gets Rs. 10,000 one time as a financial assistance or financial help
  • Under this scheme widow, women who have a child and belongs to BPL family and unmarried are eligible
  • Widow women would get stabilize under this scheme by providing benefits

Required eligibility and conditions for applying Baideu and Nabou Scheme for Unmarried and Widow Women:

  1. Candidate women are required to be permanent residents of Assam state
  2. Required eligibility for female is either she must be unmarried from BPL family or issueless women/widow and widow having child below 14 years
  3. Applicant female belonging to BPL family is eligible to take benefits under this scheme

Document required for applying Baideu and Nabou Scheme for Unmarried and Widow Women:

  1. Aadhar card
  2. If widow then Death certificate of husband
  3. BPL ration card
  4. Identity card of parents
  5. Permanent residence proof
  6. Bank details e.g. account number, branch name, IFSC code, MICR code

Application procedure:

  1. Applicant women can collect application form from local Social Welfare Office and after filling it can submit that office itself
