On October 29, 2020 the Maharashtra State cabinet too various important decisions on different matters on of which is ‘Balasaheb Thackeray Maaji Sainik Sanman Yojana’ This scheme is mainly launched in the honor of ex-servicemen or soldiers residing permanently Maharashtra. Under this scheme, soldiers who stayed permanently in the state will be exempted from residential property tax payment. This scheme will be applicable to all the ex-servicemen as well as widows of the deceased soldiers. This scheme aims to provide assistance to the beneficiaries in the state.
