Delhi Unemployment Allowance and Subsistence Allowance Scheme

Society a combination of multiple ends and it’s not necessary that all ends should be similar. When society is all good and has all facilities there is other end which remains deprived of all facilities just because they aren’t employed. So the scheme named Delhi Unemployment Allowance & Subsistence Allowance Scheme is there to take care of such social members who are unemployed. Under the scheme the member with no employment are served, but along with them disabled people are served as well with more priority. The scheme on one hand provides financial assistance to unemployed, provides mental preparation programme to disabled beneficiary.

Benefits of Delhi Unemployment Allowance and Subsistence Allowance Scheme:

  • 1000 per month: The beneficiary will get the financial assistance of Rs. 1000 per month
  • Disability camps: The scheme organizes various disability camps to train the person with disability and train them to survive
  • Telephonic helpline number: The telephonic helpline number has been started to answer the queries of disabled person by another person with disability

Eligibility for Delhi Unemployment Allowance and Subsistence Allowance Scheme:

  1. Age of a disabled person should not be more than 60 years
  2. Family annual income should not be more than Rs. 75, 000
  3. Person should be the resident of Delhi for the past 5 years
  4. Disability of a person should not be less than 40%
  5. Must have any single operated bank account in any bank

Documents Required:

  1. Proof of residence (Electricity bill, Water connection bill, Gas connection bill, Ration card, Aadhar card, Voter card, Driving license)
  2. A copy of disability certificate issued by medical board
  3. A self-declaration by the applicant about the family income
  4. Aadhar card

Application form:

Application details are available at the govt. hospitals or the medical board authorizing the disability certificated (for disabled people). For unemployed visit employment exchange office
