Disabled Education Incentive Scheme (DEIS) Madhya Pradesh: Divyangs to get free laptops & tricycles | Registration, eligibility & how to apply

The Government of Madhya Pradesh is working on the new scheme for Divyangs in the state. The scheme is called as Disabled Educative Incentive Scheme (DEIS). The Chief Minister of the state Shree. Shivraj Singh Chauhan made an announcement. The scheme is meant to help disabled students in the state. They will be given free laptops and tricycles. Differently-able / disabled students in the Madhya Pradesh who scored minimum 50% marks in 9th class will be eligible for the scheme. According to Gopal Bhargava, Minister of Panchayat & Rural Development MP nearly 1,000 disabled students will get benefits under the scheme.

Students who are vision impaired, hearing impaired, students with bone deformities along with mentally retarded having a scored minimum 50% marks in class 9th and those who have taken a admission in class 10th or in ITI will get benefit under this scheme. The scheme will be implemented by the Department of Panchayat & Social Justice of the state. The laptops will be given to only those disabled students who took admission in ITI courses related to computer operator, programming assistance or computer.

The motor tricycle will be provided to the students with bone deformities who have passed in class 10th and has taken admission in the graduate course whose 60% body below the waste is disabled.
