The District Merit Scholarship for Higher Secondary, VHSC, ITI and Poly Technic Students scheme is started by Kerala government (Department of Collegiate Education, Ministry of Education) for students who intend to pursue Higher Secondary, VHSC, ITI and Poly Technic education. Those who are meritorious and belong to Kerala state are eligible to get benefits under this scheme

Benefits of District Merit Scholarship for Higher Secondary, VHSC, ITI and Poly Technic Students:

  • The District Merit Scholarship for Higher Secondary, VHSC, ITI and Poly Technic provides benefits in the form of financial assistance. The structure of financial assistance is mentioned below
  • The selected candidates of District Merit Scholarship will be awarded a scholarship amount of Rs. One Thousand Two hundred Fifty Rs. 1250 per annum

Required eligibility and conditions for applying District Merit Scholarship for Higher Secondary, VHSC, ITI and Poly Technic Students:

  1. The applying students must have secured A+ in all subjects in the SSLC exam is conducted by Board of Public Examinations, Kerala
  2. The student must be studying for Higher Secondary/VHSC/ITI/Poly Technic Course
  3. The candidate must be residence of Kerala state

Application procedure and documents required for applying District Merit Scholarship for Higher Secondary, VHSC, ITI and Poly Technic Students: 

  1. Domicile certificate
  2. SSLC exam report card
  3. Aadhar card
  4. Bonafide certificate
  5. Bank details, account number, account holder name, IFSC code, MICR code, branch name
  6. Certificate that stating that candidate is pursuing Higher Secondary, VHSC, ITI and Poly Technic education
  7. Residence proof e.g. certificate from residence authority
  8. Passport size photo
  9. Caste certificate if required
