Free Supply of Stationery to SC/ST/ OBC and Minorities Students in Schools

The Free supply of stationery to SC/ST/ OBC and Minorities students in schools is introduced by Delhi Government (Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) for students of class 6 to 8 and 9 to 12. The main objective of this scheme is to fulfill day to day requirements of students which requires for getting a better education. Under this scheme financial assistance is provided to purchase necessarily required stationery the amount of financial assistance is provided monthly in student’s bank account directly for 10 months in a year. For applying this scheme candidate need to fulfill eligibility criteria like the residence of Delhi and studying in govt. school, family annual income etc. for applying this scheme candidate need not visit another place he/she can apply form school where a candidate is enrolled. Financial assistance is provided for the purchase of stationery to SC/ST/ OBC and Minorities students of 6th or 12th class studying Govt. of India/GNCT of Delhi/Aided recognized schools only

Benefits of Free supply of stationery to SC/ST/ OBC and Minorities students in schools:

  • Free supply of stationery to SC/ST/ OBC and Minorities students in schools provides benefits in the form of financial assistance to purchase stationary which is necessary to continue education. Rates of financial assistance are mentioned below
  • For class 6 to 8: Rs45 per month will be given
  • For class 9 to 12: Rs. 75 per month will be given
  • Financial assistance will be provided for 10 months in each year
  • Financial assistance is provided for purchase of stationery to SC/ST/ OBC and Minorities students of 6th or 12th class studying Govt. of India/GNCT of Delhi/Aided recognized schools

Required eligibility and conditions for applying Free supply of stationery to SC/ST/ OBC and Minorities students in schools:

  1. Candidates family income should not more Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum
  2. Candidates must be a permanent resident of Delhi
  3. Candidate must be pursuing education
  4. Financial assistance for purchasing stationary will only provide to those students who are studying in class 6 to 12

Document required for applying Free supply of stationery to SC/ST/ OBC and Minorities students in schools:

  1. Aadhar card
  2. Permanent residence proof e.g. certificate from residence authority
  3. Bonafide certificate
  4. Income certificate up to Rs. 1 lakh
  5. Previous year Marksheets
  6. Bank details e.g. IFSC code, MICR code, Account number, Account holder name, Branch name
  7. Caste certificate
  8. Non-creamy layer certificate
  9. Domicile certificate
  10. Passport size photographs
  11. Minority declaration certificate
  12. Proof of Attendance
