To ensure welfare and benefit of abandoned and surrendered children across the state

On April 22, 2021 the Haryana cabinet approved HARIHAR scheme as a policy for the children abandoned or surrendered and turned 18 years old while living in child care institutions in the state. This scheme is approved on compassionate grounds wherein the beneficiary children will get benefits in education as well as employment. Under this scheme the children will get free schooling, higher education, technical education, skill development, interest free loan for purchasing a house n Haryana, etc. This is a welfare scheme for the benefit of the abandoned and surrendered children.
