To provide assistance through free kits to the students of government schools so as to improve the quality of education

Andhra Pradesh government will launch ‘Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Scheme’ on October 8, 2020. CMO Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be inaugurating the launch. This scheme is mainly planned for the students studying in government schools. Under the scheme free kits will be distributed to the students from class 1- 10. These kits would include three pairs of uniform, shoes, socks, belt, school bag, textbooks and notebooks. Total estimated outlay of the scheme is about Rs. 650 crores.
