Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced one more scheme “Kapu Nestham Scheme“. Under the scheme government will provide financial help of Rs.15,000 to women. Kapu community’s women well get benefits of the scheme and the age group of 45 to 60 years, they can also become beneficiaries of the scheme.
The total cost of scheme is Rs 354 crore. 2.36 lakh women will be covered by the scheme. The scheme will run for the five years till the time beneficiaries will get total of Rs.75,000. During five years of the scheme women who will have rice cards and come from Kapu, Telaga, Balaji and Ontari communities they will take advantage of the scheme. This scheme was one of the promises of the pre-poll.
