Kishori Shakti Yojana is the scheme started by Kerala government for adolescent girls. The main objective of this scheme is to help the teenage girl for the better understanding of their social environment and help them to take initiatives to become important members of the society. KSY scheme is trying to provide an opportunity to live their life with full of potential and also help about health, nutrition, hygiene, family care and skill development.
Benefits of Kishori Shakti Yojana:
- Kishori Shakti Yojana helps to provide supplementary nutrition at Rs.2.50 per girl, per day
- Kishori Shakti Yojana is beneficial to the age group of 11-18 years
- A half day clinic is arranged at the primary health center for adolescent girl
- A proper career guidance will provide to girls
Required eligibility and conditions for Kishori Shakti Yojana:
- This scheme is only for unmarried women
- This scheme is only for who belongs to the poverty line
- Kishori Shakti Yojana is useful only for those girls in the age group between 11-18 years
Document required for the scheme:
- Domicile of Kerala state
- Ration card e.g. BPL Card
