Krishi Talim Yojana launched by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims empowerment of women farmer and improvement in their economic condition. An initiative helping several women provides training to use the latest technology in Agriculture field. Gives the insight to use such technology in farming to be more productive and self-reliant. Under this scheme, women farmer are provided with a stipend for training and transportation. The scheme offers an opportunity to only women farmer residents of Gujarat.  All women farmer or women who lost their husband are eligible under this scheme, women who wish to get benefits can visit nearest women and child development department along with required documents mentioned below. A unique initiative of Gujarat government has been improving the lives of many destitute widow farmer and making them self-reliant and economically stable.

Required eligibility and conditions applying for Krishi Talim Yojana:

  1. Women farmer resident of Gujarat are eligible under this scheme or can become beneficiary
  2. Wives of farmer or widow farmer are eligible under this scheme

Document required applying for Krishi Talim Yojana:

  1. Residence proof: Domicile certificate, Electricity bill
  2. Identity proof: Aadhar card, Voter ID
  3. BPL card (if available)
  4. Widow certificate (if available)
  5. Passport size photograph
  6. Death certificate of husband (if available)
  7. 7/12 of farm
  8. Income certificate

Application procedure:

  1. Beneficiary applicant should collect application form by visiting Nearest Department of women and child development
  2. Should apply at same office with required documents mentioned above
