Labour’s Self Employment Scheme launched by Ministry of Labour and Employment (Labour Welfare Board), Government of Gujarat. The main aim behind introducing this scheme is the welfare of women worker or labour working in Gujarat. A scheme specifically launched for women worker, the common scenario has been observed, that worker family finds difficult to earn even bread and butter, to foster need of such worker a scheme has been started. Under this scheme, women are provided free of cost training for glass painting, chocolate recipes, pickles, papad, etc. along with the monthly stipend. An initiative of Gujarat helping many workers to be self-employed and establish own identity along with ample of opportunity to learn etc. All worker resident of the state and qualifies eligibility norms can avail benefits under this scheme. Application form can be obtained and submitted at same office address mentioned below.

2. Women are eligible under this scheme

Document required applying for Labour’s Self Employment Scheme:

1. Aadhar card
2. Passport size photograph
3. Residence proof: Domicile certificate, Residence certificate etc.
4. Identity proof: Voter ID, Birth certificate
5. PAN card
6. Proof shows that applicant is labour
7. Application form
8. Income certificate
