‘Mera Ration’ App

To help the beneficiaries find nearest ration/ fair price shops and provide real time and quick information regarding item availability, recent transactions, entitlement, etc

On March 12, 2021, the Food Ministry of India launched a new mobile application ‘Mera Ration’ for the ration card holders mainly the migrant workers across the country under National Food Security Act (NFSA) and other welfare schemes of the government. App details were provided by Mr. Sudhanshu Pandey, Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution. This app would help the beneficiaries in finding a nearest ration shop/ fair price shop as per their location. Beneficiaries can also check the various other details related to items, categories, transactions, entitlement, etc. This app would extend the benefits of One Nation, One Ration scheme of the government as information about these public distribution services can be easily accessed through the app.
