To provide the poor, economically weaker sections with housing spaces for free thereby leading to infrastructural as well as economic development in the state

Chhattisgarh government has come up with a housing scheme named ‘Mor Zameen Mor Makan’ for providing land and houses to each and every person belonging to lower economic background in the state. This scheme is mainly launched for the urban poor in the state. Currently about 1129 huts are transformed into pucca houses and 735 are under construction. This housing scheme will lead to infrastructural development in the state, at the same time it will create new employment opportunities thereby.
