Mother on Campus Scheme for Hostel Students

To provide a homely environment to the children thereby positively impacting their studies and performance.

On November 16, 2021 Tripura government newly announced ‘Mother on Campus Scheme’ for hostel students in the state. Scheme details were provided by Tripura State Education Minister Mr. Ratan Lal Nath. Under this scheme, mothers of students studying in the hostels will be allowed to stay in the hostel with the children for a week on rotational basis. This scheme will be applicable to all the students staying in hostels and their biological mothers or adoptive mothers. Before leaving the hostel, mothers will also provide their feedback and suggestions for improving the hostel food quality, cleanliness and overall environment. This scheme intends to provide a homely environment to the children thereby positively impacting their studies and performance.
