To provide financial assistance to women and empower them

CMO Gujarat, Vijay Rupani announced Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana (MMUY) to be launched on September 17, 2020, on the occasion of PM Narendra Modi’s birthday. This scheme will be launched in the state mainly for providing interest free loans to the women in self-help groups. Gujarat government has planned an outlay of Rs. 1000 crores to these groups to get registered as joint liability and earning groups (JLEGs). This scheme aims to cover about 10 lakh urban and rural women across the state. Under the scheme member women can avail loan up to Rs. 1 lakh at 0% interest.

  • Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana is a scheme to be launched by Gujarat government for women across the state
