NACWC Internship Scheme

National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC) Internship Scheme for students & professional in the field of chemical safety & security

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced a NACWC Internship Scheme for the students & professionals working in the field of chemical safety & security. Selected individuals will get a change to do an internship at National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC). The primary objective of the program is to motivate students & young professionals to work in the field of chemical safety & security.

Benefits of the NACWC Internship Scheme:

  • Short-term exposure to chemical industry, national & international organizations working in the field of chemical weapons
  • Interns will be given training related to toxic chemicals & stop misuse of them
  • They get experience related to working in the chemical facilities
  • To create awareness about peaceful use of chemicals

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students of the under-graduation courses from the recognized universities or institutes in India
  • Students of 3rd year & 4th year bachelor degree program in Chemical Engineering & Technology
  • Professionals working in chemical safety & security industry or Indian Chemical Council

Duration of Internship: 2 months

Total Internship Positions: 3

Important Dates:

  • Last Date of Application: 15th April for students & 5th August for professionals (every year)
  • Finalization of List: 20th April for students & 20th August for professionals (every year)
  • Internship Duration: May-July for students & September to December for professionals (every year)

STEP 1: CLICK HERE to download application form from the NACWC official website nacwc.nic.in
STEP 2: Go to the last couple of pages of the downloaded application form in PDF
STEP 3: Annexure-I is for students & Annexure-II is for working professionals, print appropriate form
STEP 4: Fill up the application form completely
STEP 5: Paste passport size photograph
STEP 6: Take approval from the institute or company you are working or studying in
STEP 7: Sign the application form & scan it
STEP 8: Send the scanned application form to the deputysecretarynacwc@nic.in
