New Welfare Scheme for Farmers

To provide assistance to the farmers for increasing their income and ensuring their welfare.

On August 15, 2021 Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced new welfare scheme for farmers – Sanekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana cum Krishak Pathshala, marking the occasion of independence day. Under this scheme the state government tends to provide all the required tools, technologies and training to the farmers for ensuring their welfare. Modern tools and technologies will help increase production of farms thereby increasing the income of farmers. Under this scheme training will also be provided to the farmers regarding new farm techniques, new farming disciplines etc. This scheme tends to ensure welfare of the farmers across the state. Estimated budget of this state sponsored scheme is Rs. 50 crores.
