Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announce scheme ‘One Nation One Ration Card (ONOC)’ (एक राष्ट्र एक राशन कार्ड’ योजना) For BPL families. Under the scheme Migrants workers and their families will get ration from any ration shop across India with one single card. With this scheme migrants workers are not required to apply for new ration card in other state. They can use same ration card wherever they go. One Nation One Ration Card is digital card which is linked with Aadhaar number. As of now One Nation One Ration Card is being implemented and will be completed by March 2021.

Presently One Nation One Ration Card (ONOC) is issue 23 crore beneficiaries. The scheme is lunched under National Food Security Act, 2013 (NFSA). It is subsidized food-grain distribution. Under the scheme local staples and dal is distributed at subsidized rate to BPL from Fair Price Shops (FPS) under Targeted Public Distribution System (TPDS).
