Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Krishi Margadarshak Yojana for Farmers in Maharashtra

Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Krishi Margadarshak Yojana also known as Pandit Dindayal Upadhyaya agriculture guidance scheme is a new scheme announced by the state government of Maharashtra for farmers in the financial budget year 2016-17 by the Government of Maharashtra state. This scheme is implemented by agriculture department of Maharashtra. under the  Pandit Dindayal Upadhyaya agriculture guidance scheme, the government will enhance the knowledge of the farmers to keep them updated, empower farmers and improve the overall growth of the agriculture sector in the state. The scheme aims to help farmers in a big way and overall give a push to the farming sector. Under the scheme, the government will update the farmers with the knowledge of new discoveries, inventions and suitable guidance in the agriculture sector. This will be done via a single platform which will be framed under the Pandit Dindayal Upadhyaya agriculture guidance scheme. The government has proposed expenses of Rs. 60 Crore for this new scheme in the 2016-17 budgets. This scheme is benefits to all farmers in Maharashtra and helps farmers to increase knowledge in the field of agriculture. The state government of Maharashtra will implement this scheme from the year 2016 to 2019. This scheme implemented in entire Maharashtra state excluding Mumbai and Suburban area

Eligibility criteria for Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Krishi Margadarshak Yojana:

  1. All farmers in Maharashtra are eligible for this scheme
  2. Individual farmers or group of farmers are eligible
  3. A women farmers are also eligible for Pandit Dindayal Upadhyaya agriculture guidance scheme

  1. Farmers should contact agriculture department of Maharashtra for guidance related to agriculture
  2. Farmers should contact district or Taluka level agriculture office for this scheme
  3. Farmers should also contact Gram Panchayat, Krishi Samiti, Agriculture business committee, Agriculture festivals for details about Pandit Dindayal Upadhyaya agriculture guidance scheme
