The State Government of West Bengal has launched Pathadisha App on 21 January 2017 for government Buses to provide convenience for the passenger. In this app, the passenger can track buses on a map in real time, informs them about the buses routes and when a particular bus is to reach where passengers are waiting at the bus stop. App also provides data about the crowd traveling in the bus at the real time. Passenger also books the seat from this app. The passenger can get Complete information about the government buses online through this app. Pathadisha App also has an inbuilt accident management system. In case of emergencies, it can immediately send across an SOS to the police, fire stations, hospitals, etc. In the West Bengal, Bus services provide to the people with access to many places around the area including the airports. The government took very good intuitive for the people of West Bengal. This app really helps people who travel often by bus and tourist also get benefits of this app. Currently, near about 700 buses have accepted this app in the city. Pathadisha mobile app is a part of initiative vision 2016 by Transport Department of West Bengal to provide smart, transparent and simple way of commuting

- Pathadisha App is developed by the West Bengal government for the government buses. With the help of this app, Passenger can get information about bus routes, book seat online through the app, availability of tickets, timing of buses etc. Pathadisha App can be downloaded free from Google play store and used only on Android smartphones
