Degree in their respective subject areas with an aim to accelerate the talented into the field of research, science, engineering and technology, humanities and social sciences in Indian universities and colleges recognized by the government. The objective of this award is to provide an opportunity to carry out the advanced studies and research

Benefits of Post-Doctoral Fellowship to Women Candidate:

  • Postdoctoral fellowship to women candidate provide benefits to women in terms of financial assistance like
  • Fellowship
  1. 18,000/ per month
  2. 20,000/ per month After 2 years
  3. 25,000/ per month for fresh candidates
  4. 30,000/ per month for research experienced holders
  • Contingency: 50,000/ per annum for five years
  • Departmental Assistance: 10% of Post-Doctoral Fellowship to the host institution
  • Escorts/Reader assistance:2000/ per month (fixed) in cases of physically disabled & blind candidates
  • Duration of fellowship is 5 years

Required eligibility and conditions for Post-Doctoral Fellowship to Women Candidate:

  1. The candidate must have a doctorate degree in the relevant subject
  2. The candidate belonging to general/open category, 55% marks at UG level and 60% of marks at PG level required for getting eligible
  3. The candidate belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH) candidates, 50% at UG level and 55% at PG level required
  4. The candidate belonging to general/open category the upper age limit for applicants is 55 years as on 1st July on the year of application
  5. The candidate belonging SC/ST/OBC/PH/Minority communities the upper age limit for applicants is 60 years as on 1st July on the year of application

  1. Passport size photos
  2. Graduate and postgraduate degree certificates
  3. Caste certificate
  4. Cast validity if required
  5. Aadhar card
  6. Identity proof e.g. voter ID, Driving license
  7. Previous year mark sheet
  8. Bank details, account holder name, account number, IFSC code, MICR code

  2. Check the “For Students” section on the bottom of the homepage
  3. Press on “Scholarships & Fellowships” option from the list
  4. After that, search and select the link according to your suitable scheme
  5. Now, press on “Apply Now” button and fill the details in the form
  6. Submit this form within the given time period and take a print out of it for future reference
