Assam Government launched Pragyan Bharati scheme for students in the state of Assam. This scheme aims to encourage more girls to take up higher studies. It tends to enable them to become independent. Under this scheme students will be provided with educational benefits and meritorious girl students securing 1st division in HSC examinations out of the same will be given one Scooty each. This scheme is for the complete benefit of the students thereby by contributing to their career and future well-being. On December 20,2020 the government distributed scooties to the girl students who secured first division in Class 12 examinations.
