Saksham Scholarship Scheme Differently Abled Students

The Saksham Scholarship Scheme Differently Abled Students is launched by Indian Central Government, Ministry of Human Resource and Development, AICTE. This scheme is specially launched for differently abled students like who can’t speak, listen. Saksham is a scheme of AICTE aimed at providing encouragement and support to specially-abled children to pursue technical education. This an attempt to give every young student who is otherwise specially abled, the opportunity to study further and prepare for a successful future. Under this scheme, students are awarded financial support to continue their technical higher education. For getting eligible under this scheme candidate need to qualify some eligibility norms which are mentioned in below article. Meritorious disabled students can take advantage of this scheme and can stable their future

Benefits of Saksham Scholarship Scheme Differently Abled Students:

  • Saksham Scholarship Scheme Differently Abeled Students provides benefits in the form of financial help. Rates of financial help or scholarship are mentioned below
  • Under this scheme Rs. 30,000 or actual fee is provided as a tuition fee
  • Under this scheme Rs. 2,000 per month is provided for 10 month

Required eligibility and conditions for applying Saksham Scholarship Scheme Differently Abled Students:

  1. Only for differently abled students having more than 40% disability are eligible
  2. Family income should be less than Rs. 6 Lakhs per annum
  3. Students should be admitted for Diploma/Undergraduate Degree Level Programmes/Courses in AICTE approved institutions
  4. Only for the students admitted in the first year of their Degree/Diploma for the academic year
  5. Students must be residents of India
  6. Only differently-abled students are eligible

Document required for applying Saksham Scholarship Scheme Differently Abled Students:

  1. Copies of Mark sheet of standard 10th / 12th / Others as applicable
  2. Copy of annual family income certificate in the prescribed format issued by Tahsildar or Higher officer
  3. Copy of certificate issued by competent authority in case of differently-abled candidate
  4. Copy of admission letter to Diploma/Degree Course
  5. Copy of tuition fee receipt
  6. Copy of bank pass book showing name of the student, Account number, IFSC code, MICR code and photograph
  7. Copy of student PAN card (if available)
  8. Copy of Aadhar card (if available)
  9. Certificate issued by the Director/Principal/Head of the Institute
  10. Declaration by parents
