Central government sponsored Samagra Shiksha scheme is an integrated scheme focusing on the education of children across the country. This scheme covers all the children from pre-school to class 12th. It aims at providing equal opportunities to study to each and every child. This scheme is being implemented state wise under the respective state governments. It comprises of 3 major schemes named Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Teacher Education (TE). This scheme tends to provide each child with proper schooling along with enhanced technologies and infrastructure. It aims at bridging the gender gap and social gap. Teachers will be trained and us of technology in schools will be increased. Thus, under this scheme quality education is aimed to be provided to each and every child.
