Samras Hostel Scheme launched by Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat. The objective of this scheme is to facilitate with residential to the students of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Class categories to study in major cities of Gujarat. Under this scheme, free residential facility along with equipped with state-of-art facilities are provided. Capacity would be of 2000 students per hostel. Students of weaker economic background can get the advantage of this scheme in order to pursue higher education scheme. All students belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class and permanent residence of Gujarat state are eligible under this scheme, those who wish to get benefits can apply at Nearest Samras Hostel Scheme in Gujarat or Nearest Tribal Development Office

2. Identity proof: Aadhar card
3. BPL ration card (if available)
4. Caste certificate
