School Uniforms Supply Scheme started by state Government of Madhya Pradesh for students. The main objective of the scheme is to motivate toward the education to scheduled tribe girl students studying from 1st to 8th class. The school uniforms are provided by state Education Center under The National Programme for Education of Girls at Elementary Level (NPEGEL) scheme. In this scheme, the government provides a school uniform to the scheduled tribe girl students who are studying in class 1st to class 8th. In addition to this, uniforms are also supplied for specific backward class boys studying from class 1st to class 8th. In the year of 2006-2007, more than 86887 girl students and 66963 boy students benefited under this scheme. The goals of this program are to increase primary school enrollment, promote attendance, reduce dropout rates, and enhance the quality of education. Uniforms/Dress codes eliminate the need for parents to buy a large number of wardrobe pieces and instead to focus on a few key uniform items, resulting in cost savings for the family
Benefits of School Uniforms Supply Scheme:

Eligibility for School Uniforms Supply Scheme:
- Applicant should belong to Madhya Pradesh
- Scheduled Tribe category girl students who are studying in class 1st to class 8th are eligible for School Uniforms Supply Scheme
Documents required for School Uniforms Supply Scheme:
- Aadhaar card
- Caste certificate
How to apply for School Uniforms Supply Scheme:
- Applicant should visit Collector, Assistant Commissioner and District Organizer of Tribal Welfare Department in Madhya Pradesh
- Applicant also visit headmaster of concerned school in Madhya Pradesh state
