Indian Railways has started Shri Ramayana Express, a special train which covers all the holy places related to Lord Ram. The Shri Ramayana Express started its service on 14th November 2018 from Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi. The Shri Ramayana Express train starts from Delhi and runs on the Ramayana Circuit (pilgrimage destinations related to Shri Ram) and goes till Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu. All those who wish to visit Sri Lanka can visit at an extra cost on the Shri Ramayana Express tour package.
