Vocational & Technical Scholarships to SC, ST, OBC and Minorities Students Scheme

The Vocational & Technical Scholarships to SC, ST, OBC and Minorities Students scheme is started by Delhi government (Directorate of Training & Technical Education) for promoting technical education among to SC, ST, OBC and Minorities students. The main objective of this scheme is to help the students to become self-employed by giving emphasis on promoting technical education

Benefits of Vocational & Technical Scholarships to SC, ST, OBC and Minorities Students Scheme:

  • The Vocational & Technical Scholarships to SC, ST, OBC and Minorities Students scheme provides benefits in the form of financial assistance to the students who belong to SC, ST, OBC, and Minorities and satisfy eligibility conditions. The structure of financial assistance is mentioned below
  • For day scholars: 210 per month
  • For hostlers: 360 per month

Required eligibility and conditions for applying Vocational & Technical Scholarships to SC, ST, OBC, and Minorities Students Scheme:

  1. SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students receiving a technical education in various  Industrial Training Institutes(ITIs) being run by of NCT of Delhi and whose family income does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum are eligible for availing benefits of Vocational & Technical Scholarships to SC, ST, OBC and Minorities Students scheme
  2. Candidate must be residence of Delhi state

Application procedure and documents required for applying Vocational & Technical Scholarships to SC, ST, OBC and Minorities Students Scheme:

  1. Caste certificate
  2. Non-creamy layer certificate
  3. Income certificate below Rs. 1 lakh from respective authority (only for OBC and Minority students)
  4. Minority declaration certificate
  5. Domicile certificate
  6. Aadhar card
  7. Bonafide certificate
  8. Bank Detail, account number, account holder name, IFSC code, MICR code
  9. Identity proof e.g. school identity card
  10. Residence proof e.g. certificate from respective residence authority
  11. Previous year markheets

Application procedure:

  1. A student is allowed to avail the scholarship either under the State Plan Scheme or Centrally Sponsored Scholarship Scheme, whichever is beneficial to him/her and should inform the awarding authority through the Head of the Institution by mode of a declaration”

  2. Candidate can contact to Head of the school
  3. Candidate can contact to Directorate of Training & Technical Education because scheme is implemented by them
