The Office of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Income Tax Department, Delhi is recruiting for various positions. Applications are invited for total 14 positions of Income-Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, Stenographer Grade-2 and Multi-Tasking Staff. This is a sports quota recruitment; thus, applications are invited from meritorious sportsmen who have represented India at different levels. These posts are temporary but likely to be permanent. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through offline mode on or before April 15, 2021

Pay Scale:
- Income Tax Inspector – Rs. 9,300-34,800/- + GP – Rs. 4600/-
- Tax Assistant – Rs. 5,200-20,200/- + GP – Rs. 2,400/-
- Stenographer Grade-2 – Rs. 5,200-20,200/- + GP – Rs. 2,400/-
- Multi-Tasking Staff – Rs. 5,200-20,200/- + GP – Rs. 1,800/-
Age limit:
- For Income Tax Inspector – 18-30 years
- For Tax Assistant, Stenographer Grade-2 and Multi-Tasking Staff – 18-27 years
Probation period:
- 2 years
Qualification:
- For Income Tax Inspector – Candidate should possess a degree from a recognized university/ institution
- For Tax Assistant – Candidate should possess degree from a recognized university/ institution along with data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour
- For Stenographer Grade-2 – Candidate should have passed Class 12 examination from a recognized board along with dictation speed of 80 words per minute and transcription speed on computer of 50 words per minute (English) or 65 words per minute (Hindi)
- For Multi-Tasking Staff – Candidate should have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board
Sports Eligibility:
- Candidature of the applicant will be evaluated based on his/ her participation and best performance in various tournaments as follows held in any 3 years out of – 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 –
- International Tournaments/ Events like Olympics & World Championship
- International Tournaments/ Events of Regional importance like Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games/ Afro Asian Games
- Domestic Tournaments/ Events of National level seniors like National games, National Federation Games, etc
- Inter-University Tournaments
- National physical efficiency/ Drive certificate holders
