Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released a notification for Assistant Commandant (Civil/Engineer) in CRPF Examination 2021. Total 25 vacancies are available. Application process will begin from June 30, 2021. Interested and eligible candidates can apply offline by post/ by hand. Last date of application is July 29, 2021. Date of written examination is yet to be notified.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate should be a citizen of India
- Candidates from Nepal and Bhutan are also allowed
- Both male and female candidates are eligible for appointment
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
Physical Eligibility:
For Male candidates:
- Height – 165 cm
- Chest – 81 cm
- Weight – According to height but not less than 50 kgs
For Female candidates:
- Height – 157 cm
- Weight – Proportionate to height
Upper Age Limit:
- 35 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC – 3 years
- Ex-servicemen – 5 years
Examination Fees:
- Male candidates belonging to UR/ EWS/ OBC categories – Rs. 200/-
- SC/ST and Female candidates are exempted from payment
- Fee payment can be made through Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft in favour of DIG, Group Centre, CRPF, Rampur payable at SBI- Rampur

How to Apply:
The candidates can apply as follows:
- Visit the official website @ crpf.gov.in
- Go through the relevant notification pdf available
- Application form is available in the pdf itself
- Download, print and fill in the form with the details like full name, parents name, nationality, marital status, category, educational qualification details, experience details, contact details etc
- Affix a passport sized photo on the form
- Make the fee payment as applicable
- Submit the duly filled form with necessary documents via post/ by hand in an envelope to DIG, Group Centre, CRPF, Rampur, District-Rampur, UP-244901.
Examination Stages and Selection Process:
- Physical Standard Test – Candidates will be screened for physical standards like height, weight and chest. Documents like caste certificate, education certificates, Age proof, Income certificate, etc will also be screened.
- Physical Efficiency Test – Candidates qualifying Physical standard test will be eligible to appear for Physical efficiency test. Physical Efficiency test will include running race, long jump and shot put for the candidates.
- Written Examination – After clearing Physical standard test and Physical efficiency test, admit cards will be issued for written exam. Exam will be consisting of 2 papers. Paper-1 will be OMR based (MCQs) for 2 hours based on subjects like General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and Engineering Aptitude. Each question will be of 2 marks each for a total of 200 marks. Paper-2 will be Conventional/ Subjective type paper for 3 hours based on Civil Engineering. It will be for a total of 300 marks.
- Documentation/ DME – Original documents of the candidates will be verified. If the candidate fails to produce requisite original documents he/ she will be eliminated from the process.
- Review Medical Examination – Candidates qualifying written examination will be allowed to appear for medical examination. If the candidate is found unfit he/she will be eliminated from the process
- Interview – Candidates qualifying all the above stages will be invited for Interview/ Personality test. It will be conducted for 100 marks.
