Educational Qualification:
Agricultural Officer (Extn): A bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Agriculture) and must possess adequate knowledge in Tamil or its equivalent qualification awarded by any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Assistant Director of Agriculture (Extn): A degree of M.Sc., in Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics. Provided that other things are equal, preference shall be given to those who possess an M.Sc., a degree in Agricultural Extension.
Horticultural Officer: Must possess a Degree in B.Sc., Horticulture.
Fees:
- Registration Fee: Rs.150/-
- Examination Fee: Rs.200/-
- Category Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Persons with Benchmark Disability/Destitute Widow: Full Exemption
