Financial Aid to Scheduled Caste Farmers to Purchase Farm Land launched by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (Scheduled Caste Welfare Department), Government of Gujarat. A scheme introduced with an aim to encourage scheduled caste people to purchase farmland and become self-employed. A scheme specifically started for poor and unemployed people of Gujarat. An initiative of Gujarat government helping many scheduled caste family to earn bread and butter. Under this scheme, beneficiary to get financial aid to purchase farmland. i.e. 50% of total cost. The purpose of this scheme is upliftment of scheduled caste people. All scheduled caste people resident of Gujarat and wish to purchase farmland is eligible under this scheme. Benefits of Financial Aid to Scheduled Caste Farmers to Purchase Farm Land:
- Financial Aid to Scheduled Caste Farmers to Purchase Farm Land has introduced with a view to encouraging scheduled caste farmer to be self-employed and self-reliant. Scheme provides benefits in the form of financial assistance to purchase farmland
- Under this scheme financial aid is given 50% of total cost or maximum Rs. 2,00,000 to purchase land
- Benefits are limited to maximum 2 acres
Required eligibility and conditions applying for Financial Aid to Scheduled Caste Farmers to Purchase Farm Land:
- Annual income not more than Rs. 1 lakh
- Resident of Gujarat
- Candidate of scheduled caste
Required documents for Financial Aid to Scheduled Caste Farmers to Purchase Farm Land:
- Identity proof: Aadhar card, Voter ID, College ID etc.
- Residence proof: Residence certificate etc.
- Income proof
- Aadhar card
- Passport size photograph
- Bank details e.g. Account number, IFSC, MICR code
- Caste certificate
- Bank passbook copy
- Other documents may be required
Application procedure:
- The scheme implemented by state government since applicant can download the application form by visiting the link mentioned below else can collect from scheduled caste welfare office or social welfare office. Applicant can collect and submit application at same office
