Apni Beti Apna Dhan Yojana launched by Ministry of Women and Child Development (Health Department), Government of Haryana. A scheme especially launched to raise the status of the girl child in the society, to improve the status of the mother in the family, who delivers a girl child, to provide financial assistance to mothers for the nourishment. The scheme provides financial assistance of Rs. 500 to mothers to fulfill her nutritional requirements and Rs. 2500 is invested in the name of the newborn baby which grows to Rs. 25,000 when the girl child reaches 18 years of age. The beneficiary resident of Haryana, non-tax payer, belonging to below poverty line etc. can apply to the scheme. 1. Taxpayer is not eligible
2. Residence of Haryana
3. All families belonging to Scheduled Castes/Backward Caste categories (Except Gazette Officer)
4. Families of general caste category living below poverty line
5. Women have given birth to girl child
6. Candidate’s parents are not an employee of the Government or Govt. Board or Corporation or any Public-Sector Undertaking or Organization having Class I or Class II status
